SERVICE & THERAPY POODLES

When God made the earth and sky,
The flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals
And all the birds and bees.

And When his work was finished

Because of their calm demeanor and  gentle disposition many people use Standard Poodles for support dogs. 

Service Dogs are trained to help people with disabilities such as the handicapped, those visually impaired, mental illnesses, seizure disorders, diabetes etc... 

Poodles are also trained as Therapy Dogs to provide comfort and affection to people in hospice centers, nursing homes, retirement homes, hospitals, schools and disaster areas. 

Emotional Support Dogs provide their owners therapeutic benefits through comfort and support in forms of affection and companionship. An emotional support dog is not required to perform any specific tasks for a disability like service dogs are. They are meant solely for emotional stability and unconditional love. 

Here is a list of some mental and emotional conditions individuals may have that may be helped by having an emotional support dog:
