Don't let getting an older dog discourage you. There are many reasons why we may have older dogs looking for homes. It could be that a furbaby has lost their loving owner, a breeding dog is ready to go into retirement and live out their golden years in a new loving home or simply a momma had a big litter, and a few puppies were left without homes. Standard Poodles are an amazing breed and extremely smart so adjusting to new homes and environments are easily done.
