I am an owner of a Darla poodle. My boy, Brick is the love of our lives. Consider this a testimonial to purchasing a Darla poodle. His temperament is always sweet. He is well mannered and listens well. I was so comfortable at the time of purchase, with the health testing that the parents have gone through. We will celebrate Brick's Birthday in May. He is given a perfect health seal from our vet every year. 

May 5th,2013 was the birth date of my wonderful Sir Brick of Winston Park. A Darla Red Standard Poodle. We went to see Darla and her fabulous poodles, eight weeks later. We picked up our great guy that day. Brick is the sweetest boy. He is very smart and has the cutest smile. My husband and I are so in love with him. We started looking for another standard poodle after our beloved Beau passed. Beau was a black standard poodle. He left his love, Belle, a beautiful black standard poodle. We felt we could not replace  Beau so we decided we wanted a red standard poodle. We found Darla and immediately fell in love with her, Brick, and all of the wonderful poodles she had. Darla is an incredible breeder. Her love and dedication to bringing healthy beautiful poodles into our world, is amazing. Our female Belle is 13 now and we know she will be joining Beau in the future. We will be calling Darla to bring another Beautiful Darla puppy into our home. Thank you Darla for what you do to bring these dark red poodles into our lives.  Your pups are like potato chips, you can not stop at having just one beautiful Darla poodle.

I am the owner of a Darla poodle and I can tell you I love my little girl!! She is so smart & sweet. Darla's poodles are all tested and have a clean bill of health. Darla assist in all deliveries of her new puppies and keeps them in her very own house to make sure mommy and puppies are all watched over and taken care of. She got my little girl her first shots and had a chip put in so I would feel secure if she would happen to run away or get taken. She absolutely cares about the health and well being of her Standard Poodles.  Finding them a forever home to make someone's life more enriched with a four legged companion is her main goal in life and it is very obvious. I would recommend Darla's poodles to anyone who is interested in a standard poodle.

I am so pleased to have met Darla 3 years ago.  We spoke a couple of times on the phone discussing poodles. I asked her if she was interested in breeding my health tested Male, so I could have a son from him. 

We exchanged pedigrees and she bred my male, Lincoln with her female, Darla's Little "Misty" Rose (Canine Health/Pedigree) for a low 3.25 COI. We both were very excited!!  I picked out my pup in the spring of 2017.  I could have spent a whole weekend with Darla, dogs and children. I knew I liked her immediately through our conversations over the phone but meeting her in person was the best and we have been friends ever since. 

I must add that Darla was the only person that believed in me and my boy to create a wonderful bred litter. 

It took me 3 years and many many conversations with many many breeders. I have always wanted a RED that did not fade. But finding a RED that had the whole package was difficult.  Temperament, Health etc... is of the most importance and finding a RED line that did not fade along with a breeder that would accept that I do not show dogs but work a lot with my dogs, CGV, agility etc...

I am so pleased she loved Lincoln and I love her for trusting me.

Darla Standard poodles are not only gorgeous... they are also top quality. Bred for great temperament and intelligence, training is a breeze. I should know, as I am a trainer and poodle person for more than 40 years. Kayla has been with me one week and has stolen the hearts of all who have met her. Even my vet says she must get one of Darla’s pups!

Quite simply, my Rojo is one of the best poodles I have ever had, over many years !!! He is from Darla’s Little Misty Rose and Lincoln. Darla was incredible to work with and very patient with me. She cares deeply about her dogs and has excellent health testing. Rojo is a beautiful boy who is calm, obedient, FUN, and very intelligent. I highly recommend Darla and her wonderful dogs !!!
